| Resolved Question: I have insomnia that alternates, sometimes I can't sleep at all, then then I sleep for 13+ hours? |
This has been going on for a little more then a month. I am a college student at the end of what has been a very stressful semester as a double major. Some nights I never make it to bed, and others no matter how early I turn in I'm still in bed at 1 o'clock the next day. I make sure I doesn't interfere with my school work, but it has made me miserable other wise. I'm not a heavy drinker, or drug user, I have one or two caffeinated drinks a day at most, sometimes none, and all earlier in my day. I'm not very physically active unless you count the hiking I do up and down the stairs every day and the mile I walk to my car. I eat decently, for a college student, but not regularly because of my heavily tues/thurs course load and lack of breaks. I've tried everything from sensory deprivation, aromatherapy, hot tea, milk, music, staying up 36 hours to re-set myself and taking over the counter sleep aids as well as benadryl and nothing is helping. Can anyone give me a suggestion?
